Is a multiuser license required?

1. A multiuser license is not required if you are using the software on a single computer and not storing the data on a server.
2. Neither is a multiuser license required if the software is installed on a server and only accessed from the server.

What is a multiuser (workstation) license?

• A multi-user license permits a workstation to access the data for that particular module to be accessed on the server.
• A multi-user license is required for each module per workstation. For example:
• for 2 computers networked, one server and one workstation, requires 1 multiuser license for that particular module. The network setup may consist of client/server, or peer to peer networking.
• for 3 computers networked, one server and two workstations, requires 2 multiuser licenses for that particular module. The network setup may consist of client/server, or peer to peer networking.
• for 4 computers networked, one server and three workstations, requires 3 multiuser licenses for that particular module. The network setup may consist of client/server, or peer to peer networking.
• for 5 computers networked, one server and four workstations, requires 4 multiuser licenses for that particular module. The network setup may consist of client/server, or peer to peer networking.

Do we need to purchase a multi-user license for the add-on module ... ?

• No, purchasing a multi-user license for a Plus, Pro or Platinum module will cover both the Plus, Pro or Platinum and add-on modules (you must have purchased a license for the actual add-on module).
